Carrie Rutledge is from Hayfield, MN, where she played outside hitter for Hayfield High School. She was All-Conference in volleyball, basketball and softball. She set the school record for career digs at 1,485. She scored 1,000 points in her basketball career. She was named All-State in basketball and softball. She was a Basketball and Softball All-Star and was named to the All-Tournament State Softball Team in 2017. While at RCTC, she was part of the 3rd Place National Tournament team, Region 13A and All-Conference Championship teams, and AVCA All-Academic team. Her honors while at RCTC include Hitter of the Week, NJCAA National Player of the Week, MCAC All Southern Division, MCAC All-State, Region XIII All-Tournament team, All-Region XIII, National Tournament All-Tournament team, and MCAC Elite team. Carrie was awarded NJCAA All-American first team and AVCA All-American second team. She was on the
RCTC President’s List both fall and spring semesters. Her parents are Matt and Donna. She has two siblings, Cameron and Kenna. Her major at RCTC is Health Science. Her favorite movie is The Notebook. Her favorite sports team is the Minnesota Gophers. Her favorite food is steak. Her favorite games are Rummikub and Sorry. Her favorite TV shows are The Office and Gossip Girl. She came to RCTC to stay close to home and to continue playing volleyball while finishing her AA degree.
