Fort Dodge, IA - The RCTC Yellowjackets couldn't crack the defense of Iowa Central Community College tonight as they fell by the score of 0-5. Despite the 5 goals Sarah Baack had a solif night in net weathering the ICC storm and making 18 saves on 23 shots.
RCTC was led by Micayla Biffert's 2 shots on goal. The Yellowjackets managed 6 shots on the night, but couldn't find the back of the net. Coach Weiss said of the performance:
"The Yellowjackets played a hard fought match versus a talented Iowa Central squad that went 11-5-1 in the NJCAA D1 last year, Sarah Baack was excellent in goal again, making 18 saves."
RCTC is back in action on Wednesday, September 5th squaring off in a rematch against Dakota County Technical College. The two teams faced each other on August 23rd, with DCTC pulling out a late 1-0 win in the close minute of the contest
