Rochester, MN - Coach Randy Rager and his talented RCTC Yellowjacket wrestling team are making final preparations for the NJCAA Wrestling Championships this week. The event, which begins on March 6th features the top Junior College wrestlers from across the country in all divisions. The Jackets are sending 9 wrestlers to the meet, and are looking for a Division III National Championship. The Yellowjackets are currently ranked #14 in the All-Division National Poll.
RCTC wrestlers include:
Francis Fuenffinger at 125. "Frannie" enters the meet as the #8 seed
Parker Dobrocky at 133. Parker is the #5 seed
Auston Hall at 141. Auston makes is second appearance in the NJCAA Championships and is unseeded
Brandon Kidd Jr. at 149. Kidd is the #8 seed in the torunament
Seth Brossard at 165. Brossard is seeded #5 and leads the Jackets in Falls with 23
Jeremiah Colon at 174. Colon enters the meet seeded #5
Gavin Christoffersen at 184. Gavin is seeded #7
Richie Hammonds at 197. Richie is the highest seeded Jacket at #3
John Noll at 285. Noll enters the tournament unseeded.
