Rochester, MN - The RCTC Yellowjackets came out of the gates quickly in front of the home crowd on Wednesday night, building a 16-9 lead early. However, DCTC took the lead late in the half and never trailed in the second half in downing RCTC 81-65.

The Yellowjackets played solid defense throughout the first half, holding DCTC to only 34 points, unfortunately they couldn't take advantage on the offensive end, and entered the half trailing 30-34.  In the second half it was a case of DCTC finding their way yo the rim and finishing as the Blue Knights outscored the Yellowjackets 47-35 in the second frame.

RCTC was led in scoring by freshman Eddie Oyet who scored 17 points on 7-12 shooting. Oyet also had 6 rebounds on the night.  Joining Oyet in double figures was DaMichael Brown who scored 10,  DCTC was led in scoring by Termaine Daniels with 21 and Jerimiah Coddon with 20.

RCTC outrebounded DCTC 42-32 but committed 25 turnovers to DCTC's 14.

The Yellowjackets are back in action on November 20th, traveling to Madison College.
