Rochester, MN - The final awards are in for the 2019-20 volleyball season as the NJCAA announced its All-American teams. The RCTC Yellowjackets who finished 31-4 on the season and 4th place at the NJCAA National Championships had two players named First Team All-American.
Carrie Rutledge was named to the first team for the second year. The Sophomore OH from Hayfield, MN lead the nation in kills per set (4.97) and was second in total kills with 572. In addition, Rutledge finished 2nd in the nation in total points earned (625) and 5th in the nation in points per set with 5.4.
Joining Rutledge on the First Team was setter Brekkin McCready. McCready, a Sophomore from St. Charles, MN lead the nation in assists per set with 11.84. She finished #2 in the nation in total assists with 1,362. She also helped lead the Yellowjackets to the #6 ranked hitting percentage in the nation (.263) and the most team kills per set (12.92).
