RCTC Volleyball Runs Win Streak to 7

Arden Hills, MN - Led by reigning MCAC setter of the week Brekkin McCready, the RCTC Yellowjackets volleyball team ran their win streak to seven straight matches with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-20) win over Bethel University's JV squad on Wednesday night.

The 6th ranked Yellowjackets (12-4, 5-0 MCAC) offense was in sync all night as McCready dished out 40 assists on the night, leading RCTC to a .266 team hitting percentage.  In addition to her 40 assists McCready added 10 digs, 2 kills and a block.

The Yellowjackets were once again led offensively by three players in double figures in kills.  Carrie Rutledge had 15 kills, Hailey Bahr had 12, and Mariah Steinbach had 10. Steinbach's 10 kills came on only 15 attempts as the sophomore middle had a.533 hitting percentage.

Katlyn Bade led the Jackets with 15 digs and 2 service aces on the night.

RCTC gets back into conference play hosting St. Cloud Community and Technical College on Friday night at the sports center.  First serve is set for 6:30pm
