RCTC falls to lake Superior 2-1

Duluth, MN - Going in to Saturdays game with Lake Superior College RCTC Coach Bryan Weiss new it was going to be an extremely tight contest, after all in the opening meeting the two teams played to a double-overtime deadlock.  Unfortunately for the Yellowjackets the tightly contested contest resulted in a 1-2 defeat on the road in Duluth.

It was LSC forward Esther Borth that proved the difference maker in the game as she scored two first half goals giving LSC a 2-0 lead at the break.  RCTC came back strong in the second half controlling play for a majority of the period and scoring once in the half.  RCTC's goal came from Kallie Keller off a feed from Micayla Biffert.

RCTC goalkeeper Sarah Baack made 5 saves on 7 shots in the contest.  The Jackets are back in action on Sunday of Homecoming week, taking on league-leading Anoka-Ramsey in a 3:00 kick-off at the Stadium...
