RCTC Goalkeeper Named MCAC Player of the Week

Rochester, MN - The MCAC office announced today that Sophomore goalkeeper Sarah Baack has been named MCAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.  The second year netminder from Zumbroata, MN nearly pitched a shut-out against Dakota County Technical College on Thursday.  It took a 90th minute goal to break a 0-0 tie against the Yellowjackets and Baack as DCTC pulled out a 1-0 win.

For the contest Baack had 7 saves, and was aggressive throughout the game picking off crosses and coming off her line to force the action at the top of the box.  Baack and the Yellowjackets are back in action heading to Iowa Central and DCTC this week.
