RCTC falls to league leading Anoka

Rochester, MN -  The RCTC Yellowjackets dropped their MCAC finale to top seeded Anoka Ramsey today 9-2.  Anoka got off to a quick start scoring two goals in the first 15 minutes, before RCTC responded with a goal to cut the lead in half to 2-1.  Anoka had too much firepower adding 4 more goals to take a 6-1 lead.  With only 30 seconds left in the half Kallie Keller laced a shot from 20 yards out into the upper corner beating the Anoka goalkeeper and cutting the lead to 6-1.

In the second half neither team found the net for the first 20 minutes before the Rams scored three unanswered in the final l25 minutes to win 9-2.

The Yellowjackets play their final home contest on Wednesday night in a 5:00 start at the Rochester Regional Stadium.  On Thursday, RCTC opens Region XIII play on the road against Lake Superior.
