RCTC women's basketball moves to 1-1 on young season

Rochester, MN - The RCTC women's baskeball team's offense was once agin in high gear on Saturday as the Jackets pured in 86 points in their non-conference game against NIACC.  Unfortunately for the Yellowjackets the NIACC offense was in overdrive as the Trojans dropped 126 on RCTC to level RCTC's record at 1-1.

The high-scoring Trojans, who are 4-0 and ranked 10th in Division II have scored: 95, 126, 109, and 111 in each of their four games this season.

RCTC was led in scoring by freshman player Olivia Matti who when 8-14 from the field (including 3-4 from beyond the arc) in scroing 20 points.  Joining Matti in double figures were Grace iley (19), Alyssa Whitson (12), and Jadyn Anderson (10). Abby Bauer led the Jackets in both rebounding and assists with 9 of the Jackets 52 boards and 6 assists.
