Grace Riley, a freshman guard at Rochester Community and Technical College put together a strong week for the Yellowjackets, including a 27 point performance off the bench to keep RCTC in the hunt for a top seed in the MCAC South.
Riley had 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals against Riverland Community College on Wednesday, February 14. In 23 minutes against RCC, Riley was 7-of-14 from the field and an impressive 5-of-7 from three point land.
On Saturday, February 17, Riley hit for a game-high 27 points off the bench, on the strength of an 11-of-18 performance and 15 points worth of shooting from behind the arc. The Mayo High School product also swiped four steals and collected four rebounds for RCTC.
The Yellowjackets close out the regular season this week with key games against Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Minnesota West CTC; both contests will factor strongly in the final standings for the Division and placement within the NJCAA Region XIIIA tournament.
