Coon Rapids, MN - THe RCTC Yellowjackets knew it was going to be a tough weekend in Coon Rapids. After all it is tought to play the same team twice in the same week, (Vermillion Community College) and then to follow that up with a 10:00am game against DIvision I Bismarck State at the end of finals week is a huge challenge. RCTC answered the bell on Friday night winning for the second time in a week over VCC, however Bismarck just proved to tough down the stretch handing the Jackets just their second loss on the season.
Despite whittling the lead down to 2 points late in the game, RCTC couldn't quite get over the hump in falling 75-62. RCTC was lead by Jalyssa Cutting with 17 points on the day. Cutting was joined in double figures by Nautika Kotero with 15 and Grace Riley with 13.
The Yellowjackets are now off for the Holidays and return to action on Friday, January 5th against North Dakota State College of Science.
