RCTC Drops Final Two of Season - Ahl With Grand Slam

Fergus Falls, MN - The RCTC softball team made their final road trip of the season on Friday, Heading up the road to face MN State - Fergus Falls in a SOuthern Division twin bill.  The Jackets played well, but dropped both games by the scores of 0-2, and 10-15.

In the game one pitchers duel neither twam could get their offense going as MN State shut-out the Jackets, while Breeana Burr held the home team to only 2 runs.  RCTC was lead at the plate by Burr who had 2 hits in going 2-3.  Abi Folkert and Abby Bauer also picked up hits in the game.

Game two was the polar opposite of game one as the two teams erupted for 25 runs.  Highlighting the Jacket offense was a 4th inning Grand Slam off the bat of Kylie Ahl. Jalysa Cutting went 2-5 with 2 doubles, Abi Folkert was 2-3 with a double, Cassie Voth had 3 hits including a double, and Jessica Ferguson and Martha Oman each had a hit.
