RCTC baseball drops two to league leading Riverland

Rochester, MN - On a cold and blustery day in Rochester the RCTC Yellowjackets hosted league leading Riverland in an afternoon double header.  The Jackets, who gave Riverland their only league loss earlier in the season, were unable to match Riverland's offense as they fell 14-1 and 15-5.

The Jackets who are firmly entranched in the race for the Reginal tournament now head to Minnesota West for their final regular season double header.  Two wins will assure the Yellowjackets a spot in the Regional tournament, where a split or two losses would require help from aforementioned Riverland.  Riverland takes on Anoka-Ramsey today and two wins by the Blue Devils would eliminate Anoka regardless of the Yellowjacket outcome.
